Most retrofit recessed lighting installations — replacing an existing fixture or adding lights to a room that already has power — do not require a permit in most municipalities. Our base pricing assumes no permit is needed. If you want a permit pulled for your Glenview project, we can quote and manage that separately and handle the entire process for you.
